DEUTSCH: Nun ist die Katze aus dem Sack!

Nach ein paar kryptischen Meldungen auf ihrer Facebookseite, die auf eine wichtige Ankündigung hinsichtlich der Zukunft der Band hinwies, haben KITTIE nun den Weggang ihrer Bassistin Ivy Vujic und die Rückkehr von Trish Doan angekündigt!

In einem Statement auf der Webseite der Band äußerte sich Ivy wie folgt:

“Nach 4 wunderbaren Jahren mit meinen verrückten Metal-Schwestern von KITTIE, verkündige ich nun offiziell, dass ich fortan nicht mehr die Bassistin der Band bin.

Ich hatte eine unglaublich gute Zeit mit den Ladies und ich bin für die großartigen Dinge, die ich mit ihnen erlebt habe, sehr dankbar. Ich wünsche den Mädels für die Zukunft alles erdenklich Gute und ich weiß, dass sie bei allem was sie tun erfolgreich sein werden.”

Trish äußert sich wie folgt:

“Ich bin sehr froh, dass ich wieder mit der Kittie-Familie vereint bin. In den letzten 7 Jahren waren die Mädels und ich eng befreundet und ich freue mich sehr, dass ich diese großartige Chance bekommen habe. Ich freue mich schon, euch alle im Frühling auf Tour wiederzusehen. Ich wünsche Ivy alles Gute!”

ENGLISH: The cat’s out of the bag!

After posting a few teasers on their facebook page about a big announcement regarding the band’s future, KITTIE have now announced the departure of their bassist Ivy Vujic and the return of Trish Doan!

In a statement on the band’s website Ivy wrote:

“After 4 amazing years of jamming with my crazy metal sisters of Kittie, I am officially resigning as their bass player.

I’ve had an incredible time touring the world with these ladies and I am very grateful for all the fun I’ve had and amazing things I’ve had the opportunity to experience. I wish the Kittie girls the best of luck in all of their future endeavours and I know they will continue to be successful in whatever they do.”

Trish comments:

“I am very happy to be reunited with the Kittie family. The girls and I have remained close friends over the last 7 years and I am excited to have this amazing opportunity. I am looking forward to seeing everyone when we go back on the road this spring. I wish Ivy all the best!”
