30. Januar 2012DEUTSCH: Mit ‘Quecksilber’ veröffentlichten die NDH-Senkrechtstarter Stahlmann ihr zweites Album. Nach dem großen Erfolg der vorab veröffentlichten Single „Tanzmaschine“, die sich auch in den Clubs zum Dauerbrenner entwickelte, lässt die Göttinger Formation um Sänger Mart nun ihr mit Spannung erwartetes neues Album folgen. Fans werden den silberschwarzen Geschmack von Elektro-Rock, tanzbaren Beats und gotischer Melancholy lieben!
ENGLISH: German electronic rockers Stahlmann released their second album ‘Quecksilber’. Following the huge success of their recent single “Tanzmaschine“, which was released in December, the band around vocalist Mart now follows up with their highly-anticipated new longplayer.

DEUTSCH: Frischfleisch im Bastardized-Kühlschrank: Wir freuen uns, die deutschen Deathcore-Recken von Science Of Sleep als jüngstes Mitglied in der Bastardized-Family zu begrüßen. Sie werden ihre erste EP bei uns veröffentlichen. Hier das Statement der Band:
Science Of Sleep sind froh bekannt geben zu dürfen, dass wir ab jetzt bei Bastardized Recordings unter Vertrag stehen! Wir freuen uns gewaltig auf die Zusammenarbeit mit unserem Label und werden so schnell es geht auf selbigem unsere EP “Affliction”re-releasen (incl Bonustrack!) und im Laufe des Jahres auch unsere erste full length LP herausbringen!

FLYING COLORS – Lass dich begeistern… / Feel the buzz…

Bereits über 60,000 Mal wurde das gerade veröffentlichte Presse-Video angeklickt. Flying Colors – der selbst benannte Release erscheint am 23. März 2012.

Gun Barrel hauchen nicht, sondern sie schießen der großen Tradition des Heavy Metal mit Hochdruck neues Leben ein. Raffiniert verbinden sie Old-School, Asi-Rock ‘n’ Roll und Metal-Attitüde miteinander. Als Vertreter dieses Dirty Metal Rock n Roll rocken sie während ihrer bereits heute legendären Konzerten aus allen Rohren.
Man spürt den animalischen Instinkt und das Herzblut, das die Kult-Rocker auf der Bühne so richtig abheben lässt. Was nicht zuletzt daran liegt, dass die Band zu einer der spielfreudigsten des Landes gehört. Alle die das Gun Barrel Live-Trommelfeuer überlebt haben sind restlos begeistert und werden zwangsläufig zu Mehrfachtätern.
Gun Barrel sind immer für eine Überraschung gut. Ob Akustikset oder volle Dezibel Attacke; es ist keine Seltenheit, dass schon mal Stargäste wie Andy Brings mitrocken, sie einen Songs zu verschiedenen Samplern beisteuern, im Auftrag des Rock n Roll nach Mallorca fliegen oder dem Publikum den Band-Sound auf Festivals wie Wacken oder Metalcamp näher bringen.
Gun Barrel haben in ihrer 10-jährigen Geschichte viel erlebt und das hat die Jungs zu einer starken Allianz zusammengeschweißt. Star-Allüren? No way. Bei allem Ruhm bleibt die Band auf dem Teppich und blickt weiter nach vorn - sie haben schließlich noch enorm viel vor!

Gung Barrel dont breathe new life into the great tradition of heavy metal, they inject it with high pressure. These guys combine old school, misfit rock n roll and metal attitude in an ingenious way. Being the representatives of this dirty metal rock ‘n’ roll, they really let it rip during their legendary live performances.
You can feel the animal instinct and the heart and soul that make the band skyrocket on stage. If nothing else, this might be due to the fact that Gung Barrel are among the most frequent performers in Germany. Those, who survived the Gung Barrel live drumfire are totally thrilled and become serial offenders. This is unavoidable.
Gung Barrel are always good for a surprise. Acoustic show or full decibel attack; it is not unusual that guest stars such as Andy Brings appear on stage with them, that they contribute songs to several samplers, take a flight to Spanish island Mallorca by the order of rock n roll or that they give the audience an understanding of their sound at legendary festivals such as Wacken Open Air or Slovenia’s Metalcamp.
Gung Barrel have gone through a lot during the last 10 years; so these dudes became a tough alliance. Rock star affectations? No way. Despite all the glamour, the band remains down-to-earth and continues to look forward - one is still up to much more!

VISIONS OF ATLANTIS – In Memoriam Nicole Bogner

DEUTSCH: Schweren Herzens geben wir bekannt, dass die ehemalige Visions of Atlantis Sängerin, Nicole Bogner, am 05. Januar 2012 im Alter von 27 Jahren verstorben ist. Unsere Anteilnahme gilt ihrer Familie und ganz besonders Nicoles kleiner Tochter. Visions of Atlantis haben folgendes Statement veröffentlicht:
“In tiefer Trauer und mit dem größtmöglichen Respekt müssen wir allen Visions Atlantis Fans die traurige Nachricht überbringen, dass unsere ehemalige Sängerin Nicole Bogner nach langer Krankheit im Alter von 27 Jahren verstorben ist. Die Band ist über diesen herben Verlust geschockt, möchte Nicole aber auch danken, dass sie nicht nur 5 Jahre die musikalische Vision der Band geteilt hat, sondern auch dafür, dass sie mehr als eine Dekade lang in tiefer Freundschaft auch außerhalb der Band mit den Mitgliedern verbunden war. Ohne Nicole wäre Visions of Atlanis niemals geboren worden und ihre einzigartige Stimme und Persönlichkeit waren stets ein großer Teil der Band. Mit ihr starb auch ein großer Teil von Visions of Atlantis. Wir werden Deine warmherzige Seele immer in Erinnerung bewahren. Nici, wir werden Dich nie vergessen…
Alle Fans und Supporter sind eingeladen, sich im Kondolenzbuch auf Facebook einzuschreiben und ihre Trauer und ihren Respekt auszudrücken. Rest in peace Nicole und vielen Dank für alles. Die Visions of Atlantis-Familie!”

ENGLISH: With a heavy heart, we regrettably announce the passing of the former Vision of Atlantis vocalist, Nicole Bogner, on 5 January 2012 at the age of 27. Our thoughts are with her family and especially her young daughter. VoA has released the following statement:
“In deep mourning and with the utmost respect, we must notify all Visions of Atlantis fans that our former vocalist Nicole Bogner has passed away at the age of 27 after battling disease over a long period of time. The band is shocked at the loss of an old VoA family member, but also wants to express sincere gratitude to Nicole for not only 5 years of sharing a musical vision, but also for more than a decade of friendship inside and outside of Visions of Atlantis. Without Nicole Visions of Atlantis would have never been born and her unique voice and personality were a big part of VoA. With Nicole a great part of Visions of Atlantis died, as well. We will always treasure your warm-hearted soul. You will never be forgotten Nici…
