6. September 2011DEUTSCH: Fergie ist sicher für viele von euch bekannt als der Sänger von TOTO (in der ‘Isolation’ Aera), der auch in vielen anderen wichtigen Musikprojekten involviert ist. Nach einem Soloalbum in 1999 kam ein Jahr darauf die Diagnose Leberkrebs. Doch jetzt im Jahr 2011 kommen gleich zwei tolle Neuigkeiten um mit der Welt zu teilen: erstens die Fertigstellung des neuen Albums und die zweitens die positiven Resultate seiner Behandlung gegen den Krebs, der bald besiegt ist.
‘Ich fühle mich grossartig im Moment’ sagt Fergie. ‘Ich bin nahe daran krebsfrei zu sein. Nicht alle Ärzte glaubten daran und sie sind beinahe so erfreut darüber wie ich. Es scheint als sei ich eine Ausnahme der Regel.’
Mit dem neuen Album zeigt Fergie eine andere Seite von sich. Der Titelsong, Happiness Is The Road, sagt, dass er hat in den vergangenen Jahren gelebt hat selbst als er krank geworden war. Es bedeuted Fergie viel, dass auch andere Leute diese Bedeutung ergünden können. ‘Happiness Is The Road’ ist eine Geschichte von Liebe und Leidenschaft!

ENGLISH: Mostly known for being the former vocalist of TOTO (in the “Isolation” era), Fergie has been involved in a lot of other outstanding musical projects too. In 1999 he debuted as a solo artist but one year later, he announced he had been diagnosed with liver cancer. But about one year later, in summer 2011, Fergie hat two great things to share with the world: the first eing the completion of the recording of the new album and the second is the positive results to the cures he was under, with the cancer now being close to be defeated.
“I am feeling great right now” tells Fergie. “I am close to cancer free. Not what all the doctors thought would happen and they are almost as excited about it as I am. I seem to be an exception to the rule.“
The new album musically shows a different side of Fergie. The title song, Happiness Is The Road, is the saying he has lived by for the past few years even before I became ill. It means a lot to me to have other people examine it’s meaning. “Happiness is the Road” is a story of love and passion to tell!

2. September 2011DEUTSCH: Am 14. Oktober wird ‘The Storm’, das zweite Album der sexy Rock Diva Issa veröffentlich.
Seit ihrem Debüt ‘Sign Of Angels’ wird die Norwegin öfters mit Celine Dion, Avril Lavigne und Amy Lee (Evanescence) verglichen. Issa hat jedoch ihren ganz eigenen Stil entwickelt und sich dem Melodic Rock verschrieben.
