27. September 2011DEUTSCH: ”Ich bin öfters in Rente gegangen als Frank Sinatra – Aber zum Glück habe ich es nicht vielen Leuten erzählt…” witzelt der legendäre Whitesnake Sänger, der am 22. September seinen 60. Geburtstag gefeiert hat.
Das aktuelle Studioalbum ‘Forevermore’, das am 25. März veröffentlicht wurde, zeigt Erfahrung, musikalische Reife und eine Persönlichkeit die alles andere als erschöpft klingt und das nach einer 40-jährigen (!) Karriere. Zudem ist es ein Beweis, das die Karriere der Band noch weit entfernt ist von einem Ende, selbst nachdem Coverdale das Ende in den letzten Jahren mehrfach heraufbeschwört hat. ”Das Business kann erschöpfend und destruktiv sein. Manchmal überlegt man sich zurückzutreten und einen Schlussstrich zu ziehen”, gesteht Coverdale. Heute ist David aber glücklich, dass er diesen Schritt nie getan hat. Kürzlich hat er den Song ‘Best Years’ geschrieben, der perfekt in sein jetziges Leben mit 60 Jahren passt. Er hat den Geburtstag mit seiner Familie und engsten Freunden gefeiert und ”den Tag genutzt, um zu reflektieren und dankbar zu sein, was ich bis heute erreicht habe.”

His latest studio record “Forevermore”, released on March 25th, shows experience, musical maturity and a personality that is far from jaded after an almost 40 year career. Also it is an evidence that Whitesnake’s career is far from finished, even if Coverdale evoked the end quite a few times in the last years: ” The music business can be so exhausting & destructive on a person, which makes you think sometimes, that you have to step back & take stock of your situation & circumstances”, Coverdale confessed.
Today David Coverdale is happy that he never threw totally stepped away. He recently wrote a song called “Best Years” that he says still perfectly fits describes his life with him turning 60 years old.
When Coverdale celebrates his 60th birthday on September 22nd he’s able to look back at a musical career that is almost 40 years long. “I’m going to celebrate my birthday with my private family & my musical family and I will use the day to reflect and be thankful for what I achieved in my life so far.”

PRETTY MAIDS – Künden live DVD an / Announcing live DVD
16. September 2011DEUTSCH: Pretty Maids werden endlich die von Fans und Anhängern lang erwartete live DVD veröffentlichen.
Das Konzert und die Aufnahme wird im Z7 in Pratteln stattfinden und zwar am Samstag, 1. Oktober 2011! Die Band wird Songs aus den letzten 30 Jahren ihrer Melodic Rock und Heavy Metal Karriere zum Besten geben.
Pretty Maids, die im laufenden Jahr noch mit ihrem erfolgreichen 2010er Album ‘Pandemonium’ auf Tour sind, freuen sich mit vielen Fans und Supporter am 1. Oktober eine höllische Party zu feiern!
Die DVD/live CD wird die erste visuelle Veröffentlichung der Band sein und voraussichtlich anfangs 2012 erhältlich sein. Nach dem Release wird im Sommer 2012 eine Tour folgen. Hell yea!!!
