ELYSION – auf dem “Gates” Soundtrack vertreten / featured on “Gates” soundtrack
16. August 2011DEUTSCH: Als Hommage an den Film Heavy Metal aus dem Jahre 1981 wird der erste Online-Comic des Heavy Metal Magazine namens “Gates” einen Soundtrack erhalten, der die Science Fiction/Fantasy/Horror Story begleiten wird.
Wie auch im Original wird der Soundtrack einen großen musikalischen Bereich von Hardcore Heavy Metal bis hin zu Space Rock und elektronischen Klängen abdecken. Um den großen Ronnie James Dio zu ehren, wird der Reinerlös des Soundtracks dem “The Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund” zugute kommen. Der Soundtrack wird ab dem 9. August bei iTunes und AmazonMP3 erhältlich sein.

69 CHAMBERS – erweitern die Massacre Records Familie / join the Massacre Records family
16. August 2011DEUTSCH: Das Zürcher Metal/Rock Quartett 69 Chambers besteht aus Frontfrau Nina Treml an Gitarre und Vocals, Bassistin/Backing Vocalist Maddy Madarasz, Drummer Diego Rapacchietti und Gitarrist Tommy Vetterli.
Wer glaubt, eine Band mit solchem Line-up könne den massiven Sound auf der Platte nicht auch live reproduzieren, täuscht sich gewaltig. Mit Wucht greift Nina in die Saiten, während Maddy und Diego einen druckvollen, präzise betonierten Boden legen. 2009 veröffentlichten sie ihr Debüt “War On The Inside”, das von Tommy Vetterli im New Sound Studio in Pfäffikon, Schweiz produziert wurde und weltwelt via Silverwolf Productions veröffentlicht wurde.
Nicht zuletzt aufgrund zahlreicher Live-Auftritte – unter anderen am Hellfest Frankreich, Open Air Lumnezia im Schweizer Bündnerland sowie MFVF Belgien – konnten sich 69 Chambers internationale Anerkennung, sowie eine beachtliche Anzahl von Fans aus der ganzen Welt erspielen.
Derzeit arbeitet die Band am zweiten Studioalbum, das voraussichtlich im Herbst 2011 erscheinen soll.
69 Chambers sind ein Minenfeld der Gegensätze. Eine explosive Mischung aus roher Gewalt und weiblicher Sensibilität. Ein Ort, wo runtergestimmte Gitarren und brachiale Riffs, ein knackiger Bass und ein kraftvolles Schlagzeug auf Pop orientierte, eingängige Melodien prallen.
ENGLISH: Swiss metal/rock four piece 69 Chambers comprises Nina Treml on guitar and vocals, Maddy Madarasz on bass and backing vocals, Diego Rapacchietti on drums and Tommy Vetterli on guitars.
You might be thinking a band with a line-up like that just can’t be the real deal. You might be wrong. Nina lays down masses of hefty guitars that chug and grind in a very deliberate fashion as Maddy’s bass adds thump to the sound and Diego’s drumming drives the thunderous machine along effortlessly.
Their debut “War On The Inside” was produced by Tommy Vetterli at New Sound Studio in Pfäffikon, Switzerland and released in 2009 via Silverwolf Productions. With numerous live performances – amongst others at Hellfest France, MFVF Belgium and Open Air Lumnezia Switzerland – 69 Chambers have gained an international reputation and an increasing number of fans around the world.
They’re currently working on their second studio album which is scheduled to be released in autumn 2011. 69 Chambers are a minefield of contradictions. A place where brutality meets pop sensibility and down tuned riffs, battering drums and a driving bass collide with infectious melody.
DARKANE – mit Original-Lineup zurück / back with original lineup
16. August 2011DEUTSCH: Vor ein paar Tagen hat Darkanes ehemaliger Sänger Jens Broman auf der Homepage der Band folgendes Statement veröffentlicht:
“Ich werde Darkane verlassen. Das hat persönliche Gründe. Momentan befinde ich mich in einer Lebensphase, die es mir nicht ermöglicht Inspiration für neue Abenteuer mit Darkane zu finden und deshalb ist es das Beste für mich, das Mikrofon weiter zu geben. Ich werde euch alle vermissen, die Touren, euch engagierte Fans und vor allem meine Bandkollegen. Aber ich weiß, dass Darkane mit Lawrence Mackrory einen großartigen Nachfolger gefunden haben.
Viel Glück und “stay metal”!”
Darkane dazu:
“Darkane wünschen Jens für die Zukunft alles erdenklich Gute.
Lawrence, der auf unserem Debüt Rusted Angel (1999) gesungen hat und Gastmusiker auf der Chaos vs. Order from Expanding Senses (2002) war, wird sein Debüt mit Darkane am 20. September in Strasbourg, Frankreich geben, wo unsere Europa-Headliner-Tour mit Destinity und Devastating Enemy starten wird. Wir sind alle sehr gespannt auf die Zukunft und arbeiten auch hart am neuen Album. Wir haben kürzlich die Arbeiten an unserem neuen Studio beendet, mit dem wir die letzten 18 Monate beschäftigt waren, und sind mit dem Ergebnis sehr zufrieden.”
Lawrence äußerte sich wie folgt:
“Es freut mich wirklich sehr, dass ich meine Rückkehr zu Darkane verkünden kann. Ich habe auf diese Möglichkeit gewartet und endlich ist die Zeit gekommen das weiter zu führen, was wir vor 13 Jahren begonnen haben. Andreas und Jens haben unglaubliche Arbeit geleistet und das wird mich sicherlich auf Trab halten, wenn ich live performe.
Die Chemie zwischen uns Fünf ist dynamischer als je zuvor und ich kann es kaum erwarten, auf Tour zu gehen und Songs von allen 5 Album zu singen. Am neuen Darkane Album wird schon gearbeitet und ich kann alten wie auch neuen Fans versichern, dass sie das Album mögen werden. Die Demos bisher klingen großartig, mehr verrate ich noch nicht. Ich freue mich schon sehr, alle Darkane-Fans auf Tour zu treffen.

Darkane gehen auf EU Tour und gastieren am 1. Oktober im Dynamo Zürich (@ Violent Force Metalfest).
ENGLISH: A couple of days ago Darkane’s former vocalist Jens Broman has posted the following statement on the band’s website:
“I will leave Darkane. This has to do with personal issues. At the moment my life is in a phase where I’m unable to find inspiration for new adventures with Darkane and therefore it’s best for me to pass on the mic. I will miss you all, the tours, all you dedicated fans and most of all my band mates. But know that Darkane have found a superb replacement in Lawrence Mackrory

Darkane commented:
“Darkane would like to wish Jens the best of luck in the future.
Lawrence, who sang on our debut album Rusted Angel (1999) and did a guest appearance on Chaos vs. Order from Expanding Senses (2002), will make his new debut with Darkane in Strasbourg, France September 20th when our European headlining tour will start, together with Destinity and Devastating Enemy. We are all very excited about the future, and are also working hard on the new album. We recently finished building the studio that we’ve been working on over the last 18 months, and we are very satisfied.”
Lawrence added:
“It is with great pleasure I can finally announce my return to Darkane. I have been waiting for this opportunity to appear and finally the time was right for me to continue what we started 13 years ago. Both Andreas and Jens have done a tremendous job with the band, which will keep me on my toes while performing live for sure.
Now, the chemistry between the five of us is more vibrant than ever and I can’t wait to go on tour and perform songs from all five albums. The new Darkane album is already in the works and I can guarantee that all fans, both old and new, will enjoy this record. So far the demos sound awesome, let’s just leave it at that. I’m looking forward to finally meeting all Darkane-fans on the road.
