28. April 2011DEUTSCH: Die ungarischen Groove Metaller Ektomorf haben soeben ein Live-Video (mit den beiden Songs „Rat War“ und „Show Your Fist“) online gestellt. Dieses wurde beim letztjährigen Wacken Open Air aufgenommen.
Und schon demnächst wird es eine weitere Video-Veröffentlichung im Hause Ektomorf geben: die Band arbeitet gerade an ihrem neuen Videoclip, der in Kürze erscheinen wird. Fans dürfen sich hier auf einen ganz speziellen Gast und einige Überraschungen freuen…
ENGLISH: Hungary´s groove metal masters Ektomorf have just made a live video (containing the two songs “Rat War” and “Show Your Fist”) available. The video was filmed at last year´s Wacken Open Air.
But all fans can already look forward to a brand new Ektomorf video clip. The band is right now working on it and it´s said that there will be a very special guest appearing and some other surprises… stay tuned for further news.

AT VANCE – Digital-Single für Japan-Hilfe! / digital single for Japanese tsunami victims!
21. April 2011DEUTSCH: Die Ereignisse der letzen Wochen in Japan haben niemanden kalt gelassen. Auch AT VANCE Mastermind Olaf Lenk, der als Künstler im Land der aufgehenden Sonne einige seiner größten Erfolge feiern konnte, ist tief erschüttert:
„Als ich von den Geschehnissen in Japan hörte, kam direkt das Verlangen auf, den Menschen dort zu helfen“, sagt Lenk. „Unser Sänger Rick (Altzi) kam dann auf die Idee, eine Single zu veröffentlichen, deren Einnahmen für Japan gespendet werden sollten. Dabei kam uns der Track „Tokyo“ in den Sinn, welchen wir sowieso als Coverversion für unser nächstes Album geplant hatten“.
Inzwischen wurde „Tokyo“ aufgenommen und AT VANCE hoffen, mit dem Verkaufserlös der Single einen Hilfe leisten zu können. Aber man will mit „Tokyo“ vor allem ein Zeichen sein, wie Olaf Lenk bekräftigt:
„Wir wollen unsere Mitmenschen dazu anregen, auch einen Beitrag zu leisten und aktiv zu helfen“.
Um die Vorlaufzeiten für eine CD-Produktion zu umgehen, ist „Tokyo“ ab sofort ausschließlich als Online-Single erhältlich (z. B. bei Itunes und anderen Digital-Shops).
ENGLISH: The Japanese nation has suffered a lot lately under earthquakes and tsunami. AT VANCE´s Olaf Lenk, a man who had some of his biggest success in the land of the rising sun, was shocked to hear from the catastrophe, just like so many others:
“As soon as I heard the news from the things happening in Japan I felt the need of doing at least something little that could help these people and ease the pain. Actually Rick had the idea to release a track and donate everything to Japan. As we thought of a song the Track “Tokyo” came into my mind and I thought it would suit very well. So I hope lots of people buy this one and help these people to get over this horrible situation”, comments Olaf Lenk.
Because of the usual handling time for a CD release, it was decided to make “Tokyo” available as a digital single only. Purchasable NOW on Itunes and other digital stores.
U.D.O. – “Leatherhead” EP im Handel & neuer Song im Stream! / „Leatherhead“-EP out now & Snippet of new song available for streaming!

Die neue U.D.O. EP „Leatherhead“ ist endlich im Handel erhältlich. Bei der EP handelt es sich um einen ersten Vorboten zu dem am 20. Mai erscheinenden neuen Album „Rev-Raptor“.
Neben dem Titeltrack wird ist mit „Rock´n´Roll Soldiers“ ein weiterer neuer Songs auf der EP enthalten. Dieser ist HIER ausschnittsweise als Stream verfügbar.
Seit fast vier Jahrzehnten befinden sich die ehemaligen ACCEPT-Gründungsmitglieder Udo Dirkschneider und Stefan Kaufmann bereits in der Musikbranche. An Pausieren oder eine musikalische Veränderung haben sie dabei nie gedacht.
Die beiden sind sich über die Jahre treu geblieben und damit zu einem Stück wichtiger deutscher Rockgeschichte geworden. Sie leben wie kaum jemand das was sie machen und gelten weltweit als zwei höchst respektierte Rock-Urgesteine.
Mit „Leatherhead“ zollen sie ihrem Leben Tribut: Das Stück ist eine Hommage an alle Rocker und Headbanger dieses Planeten und eine Hymne an die Lebensweise der Rockszene. Auch die anderen Stücke auf der EP sind ganz im Sinne der Rock’ n’ Roll-Botschaft gehalten. Auch „Rock’ n’ Roll Soldier“ und „Free Or Rebellion“ sprechen die Sprache der unerschütterlichen, unbeirrbaren Rock’ n’ Roll-Mentalität.
Und apropos Rock’ n’ Roll-Mentalität: Während sich die Rockfans dieser Tage mit der EP „Leatherhead“ beschäftigen, packen Udo Dirkschneider und seine Mannen bereits Koffer. Ende April geht es für U.D.O. auf Tournee nach Südamerika. Der Startschuss fällt am 30. April in Mexiko City, im Anschluss daran führ die Gastspielreise durch Peru, Chile, Argentinien und Brasilien. Passend zum Album-Release von „Rev-Raptor“ am 20. Mai wird die Band zurück in Europa sein.

For nearly four decades already, the former ACCEPT founding members Udo Dirkschneider and Stefan Kaufmann are into music business. Thereby they never thought about taking a break or making musical changes.
The two have remained loyal to themselves over the years and thus became an important piece of German rock history. They live and do what they are as scarcely anybody else and are known worldwide as two highly respected rock legends.
With “Leatherhead” they pay tribute to their lives: The piece is homage to all the rockers and headbangers of the planet and a hymn to the lifestyle of the rock scene. Even the other tracks on the EP are held in the spirit of the Rock’n'Roll message. “Rock ‘n’ Roll Soldier” and “Free Or rebellion” are telling the story of the unshakable, unwavering Rock’n'Roll mentality.
And speaking of Rock’n'Roll mentality: While rock fans these days are engaged with the EP “Leatherhead”, Udo Dirkschneider and his colleagues are already packing bags. At the End of April U.D.O. will depart to tour South America. Kick off date will be April 30th in Mexico City, subsequently guiding the tour through Peru, Chile, Argentina and Brazil. Accurate to the “Rev-Raptor” release date (May 20th), the band will be back in Europe.
