DEUTSCH: Samael präsentieren das Cover zum neuen Album “Lux Mundi”! Lest unten, was Sänger Vorph. und Graphic-Artist Patrick Pidoux zum Artwork zu sagen haben:
ENGLISH: Samael present the cover of their forthcoming album “Lux Mundi”. Read below the comments of Vorph. and graphic artist Patrick Pidoux on the artwork:
VORPH.: “For the cover artwork of “Lux Mundi” I envisioned a series of rays starting or ending at the centre of the cover. I wasn’t even thinking about any kind of motives, just black on black using a matte and shining black to make the rays apparent. I spoke about that with Patrick (Pidoux) who did the artwork of “Solar Soul” and “Above” and he came out with that idea upon which we immediately all agree”
PATRICK PIDOUX: “I draw a very graphic version of an eye which represents sight, the first human sense able to capture light.”

KIMBALL / JAMISON – bald ein Duett-Album / upcoming duet-album
20. Januar 2011DEUTSCH: Jimi Jamison (ex SURVIVOR-Sänger) und Bobby Kimball (ex TOTO-Leadsänger) nehmen zusammen ein Duett-Album auf! Von Primal-Fear-Bassist und Bandleader Mat Sinner produziert, wird dieses Album mit Sicherheit ein Highlight am diesjährigen Melodic-Rock Himmel werden!
Jimi und Bobby geben den Songs in Los Angeles den letzten Vocal-Schliff, wohingegen der gesamte Instrumental-Part in Deutschland aufgenommen wurde.
Die Songs wurden unter anderen von Leuten geschrieben, wie: Richard Page (Mr. Mister), Randy Goodrum (Toto, Steve Perry), Robert Sall (Work of Art), John Waite, um nur einige der involvierten Melodic Rock-Grössen zu nennen. Die Veröffentlichung des Albums ist diesen Frühling 2011 vorgesehen. Jimi und Bobby präsentieren hier mit viel Enthusiasmus das neue Album.
ENGLISH: Jimi Jamison (ex SURVIVOR singer) and Bobby Kimball (ex TOTO lead singer) are joining forces together in a duet album produced by Mat Sinner from the German Heavy Metal band Primal Fear. Jimi and Bobby are currently putting their finishing touches on the recording of the lead vocals in Los Angeles, while the musical tracks have been recorded in Germany.
The songs on the album, which promises to be one of the highlights of 2011 in the Melodic Rock scene, have been selected from several songwriters including Richard Page (Mr Mister), Randy Goodrum (Toto, Steve Perry), Robert Sall (Work of Art), John Waite and more melodic rock luminaries.
Jimi and Bobby can be seen in this videoclip on Facebook presenting the album. The release is currently pencilled for spring 2011.
