DEUTSCH: Napalm Records ist sehr stolz darauf, Ex Deo in ihren Reihen begrüßen zu dürfen. Die Band um Kataklysm Frontman Maurizio Iacono hat erst kürzlich eine erfolgreiche Nordamerika-Tour absolviert, auf der sie den Fans die geballte Kraft der römischen Legion präsentiert hat. Ex Deo, deren erstes Album “Romulus” von Fans und Kritikern gepriesen wurde, hat einen weltweiten Plattenvertrag mit dem österreichischen Label unterschrieben. Das zweite Album der Band – “Caligula” – erscheint 2011 und ist dafür bestimmt, die Metalszene in ihren Grundfesten zu erschüttern. Nichts kann die Macht Roms aufhalten!
Maurizio Iacono: “Ich bin sehr glücklich darüber, eine neue Heimat für die römische Legion Ex Deo gefunden zu haben. Wir haben uns freundschaftlich von unseren langjährigen Freunden bei Nuclear Blast getrennt, da wir die beiden Bands Kataklysm und Ex Deo noch strikter trennen wollten. Nun haben wir eine neue Truppe an Soldaten hinter Ex Deo, die wir nach langer Suche im österreichischen Label Napalm Records gefunden haben. Ich habe mit ihnen schon mit einer Band namens Alestorm zusammengearbeitet und sie machen wirklich phantastische und professionelle Arbeit. Wir freuen uns auf die Veröffentlichung unseres zweiten Albums ‘Caligula’ über unser neues Label in 2011. Die Metalszene wird ein herausforderndes und rebellisches Album bekommen. ROMA INVICTA!”
ENGLISH: Napalm Records is very proud to announce that Ex Deo has joined its ranks. The band revolving around Kataklysm frontman Maurizio Iacono recently returned from a highly successful North American tour, presenting metal fans with the mighty force of the Roman legion. Ex Deo, whose first full length “Romulus” was praised by fans and critics alike, signed a worldwide recording deal with the Austrian label. The band’s second offering “Caligula” is tentatively scheduled for a 2011 release and is bound to shake the metal scene to its core. Nothing can withstand the power of Rome!
Maurizio Iacono: “Today I’m excited to say that we have found a new home for the Roman legion of Ex Deo! We have parted ways amicably with our long time friends at Nuclear Blast for the second album of Ex Deo, we needed to separate even more the two bands of Kataklysm and Ex Deo and we now have a new vision of soldiers behind Ex-Deo and we have found this after a few months of talking to different labels with Napalm Records out of Austria, I’ve been dealing with them with a band I work with called Alestorm and they have done a fantastic and professional job .. we look forward to releasing the anticipated second album ‘Caligula’ with this new powerhouse and unleashing next year one of the most defiant albums metal has seen in ages .. 14. Dezember 2010DEUTSCH: Black Stone Cherry haben sich den Elvis Presley Song “Santa Claus Is Back In Town” zur Brust genommen und ihm ein sattes Southern Style Hard Rock Kleid verpasst! Hört Euch hier die Aufnahme an, die während einer Jam Session im Übungsraum stattfanden.

Fans von Tolkien’s Welt sollten unbedingt die Myspace Seite der Band besuchen, denn Battlelore posten regelmäßig News und Updates zu ihrem neuen Werk. “Doombound” wird Ende am 28. Januar 2011 veröffentlicht.
