14. September 2010DEUTSCH: The Absence haben kürzlich einen Videoclip zum Titeltrack ihres neuen Albums “Enemy Unbound” abgedreht, welcher in Kürze gelauncht wird. Bis dahin können alle Fans der Band ihren Hunger nach neuem Material mit einem behind the scenes Clip vom Videodreh stillen. Schaut den Jungs beim Herumalbern zu, ab sofort auf Metal Blade TV verfügbar – HIER.
ENGLISH: The Absence recently wrapped up filming and will soon be launching their music video for the title track from “Enemy Unbound”. 14. September 2010DEUTSCH: Das nächsten Freitag erscheinende The Birthday Massacre Album „Pins And Needles“ katapultierte sich gerade von 0 auf 1 in die Deutschen Alternative Charts!
Falls die Vorbestellungen weiter so gut laufen, werden wir wohl bereits vor dem eigentlichen Veröffentlichungstermin nachpressen lassen müssen. Aber keine Bange: Jeder wird sein Exemplar dieses großartigen Albums problemlos und pünktlich erhalten. Für die wohl wenigen immer noch Unschlüssigen: HIER gibt es die Hörproben.

If the advance orders continue to increase, we probably will have to order the second pressing before the actual release date on September 17th. DREAM THEATER – Press Release
To all of our loyal fans and friends: It is with profound sadness — regret — we announce that Mike Portnoy, our lifelong drummer and friend, has decided to leave Dream Theater. Mike’s stature in the band has meant the world to all of us professionally, musically, and personally over the years. There is no dispute: Mike has been a major force within this band.
While it is true that Mike is choosing to pursue other ventures and challenges, we can assure you that Dream Theater will continue to move forward with the same intensity — and in the same musical tradition — that you have all helped make so successful, and which is truly gratifying to us.
Fans and friends: File this episode under “Black Clouds and Silver Linings.”As planned, we begin recording our newest album in January 2011, and we’ll follow that with a full-on world tour. “The Spirit Carries On.”
All of us in Dream Theater wholeheartedly wish Mike the best on his musical journey. We have had a long and meaningful career together. It is our true hope that he finds all he is looking for, and that he achieves the happiness he deserves. He will be missed.
THE STORM – neu bei Spinefarm Records / has signed with Spinefarm Records!
14. September 2010DEUTSCH: Das zweite Album “Black Luck” erscheint Ende Oktober. Es wurde produziert von Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Hatesphere). Der Volbeat-Sänger Michael Poulsen ist auf dem Album auch als Co-Sänger tätig. Die Sängerin von The Storm war dafür als Gast-Sängerin auf der letzten Volbeat-Scheibe vertreten.
ENGLISH: “Black Luck” is the second album for the Storm and it will be released in the end of October. The new “Black Luck” album was produced by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Hatesphere) and Volbeat-vocalist Michael Poulsen is also featured on the album as a co-vocalist. In return Pernilla has been a guest vocalist on Volbeat’s “Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood”-album.
