ARMA GATHAS: enthüllen Cover und Trackliste / reveal cover and tracklisting

ARMA GATHAS kommentieren Artwork und Booklet von Dead To This World wie folgt: “We chose our friend Thomas Ewerhard (www.ewerhard.de) as the artist to visualize our concept. We are very proud to have worked with the man that is one of the most well known artists in Metal (Amon Amarth, Brainstorm, and many more)! He did an awesome job on the layout and also created the most amazing cover artwork based on pictures and impression taken by us in the past four years. The whole visual concept fits perfectly on the music and is an integral part of the art we will release.”
Dead To This World enthält 13 Songs und alles von knüppelnder und frustrierter Aggression in seiner reinsten Form bis hin zu atmosphärischen Einleitungen.
ARMA GATHAS bestehen aus dem früheren CATARACT Gitarristen Simon Füllemann, ex-BORN FROM PAIN Sänger Ché Snelting, MACHINEMADE GOD und ex-CORNELIUS Gitarristen Marc Niedersberg, ex- DISLOYAL Schlagzeuger und Schlagzeugstudenten Max van Winkelhof und Alex Härtel am Bass. Sie haben ihr Debütalbum Dead To This World im November 2009 in den Barracs Studios zusammen mit Sky Hoff (u.a. Caliban) am Mischpult eingespielt. Das Mastering hat der legendäre Alan Douches in den West West Side Studios in Zusammenarbeit mit Simon Anfang Dezember in New York erledigt.

The eminent metal outfit ARMA GATHAS has posted the front art and tracklisting for their debut album Dead To This World!

Dead To This World consists of 13 songs, ranging from bludgeoning aggression and frustration in its purest form to atmospheric interludes and music pieces.
ARMA GATHAS is former CATARACT guitarist Simon Fülleman, ex-BORN FROM PAIN singer Ché Snelting, MACHINEMADE GOD and ex-CORNELIUS guitarist Marc Niedersberg, ex- DISLOYAL drummer and talented drum student Max van Winkelhof and Alex Härtel on bass. They recorded their debut album Dead To This World in November 2009 at the Barracs studios together with Sky Hoff as a producer, who worked with Caliban in the past. Mastering was done by the legendary Alan Douches at the West West Side Studio in New York together with Simon in early December.

23. Februar 2010Deutsch: Fates Warning haben die Wiederveröffentlichung ihres 1991er Albums “Parallels” angekündigt! Alle Fans der Band können ab dem 12. März 2010 in Europa zuschlagen. Die Deluxe Edition enthält neben dem remasterten Album gut drei Stunden an Musik und Livefootage. “Parallels” ist das sechste Album der Prog Metal Pioniere und dank der Singlehits “Eye To Eye”, “Point Of View” und “We Only Say Goodbye2 auch eines der erfolgreichsten! Darüber hinaus hat James LaBrie von Dream Theater einen Gastauftritt in dem Song “Life In Still Water”. “Parallels” ist zweifellos eines der einflussreichsten Alben der Prog- und Metalszene, auch wenn die Fans der Band nach wie vor darüber diskutieren, ob die Scheibe nicht zu kommerziell klingt.
Sänger Ray Alder führt weiter aus: “I think it´s one of the best albums we ever put out and I´m happy that fans have the chance to take a second look at this important record. The lineup, the songs and the cover art all came together to make a great package when originally recorded and the bonus DVD really adds a fresh perspective to the album.”

English: Fates Warning has announced the release of the deluxe edition of their seminal 1991 album, “Parallels”! Fans can get their hands on this new take on the album on March 12, 2010 in Europe. The deluxe edition has been completely re-mastered and contains well over 3 hours of music and live footage. “Parallels” is the sixth record from the prog metal pioneers and was one of their music successful releases due to the commercial success of the singles “Eye To Eye”, “Point Of View” and “We Only Say Goodbye”.
Also, James LaBrie of Dream Theater fame makes a guest appearance on the track “Life In Still Water”. “Parallels” has proven to be one of the most influential albums in the prog and metal genres, despite its hotly debated status among fans as a “commercial” sounding album.
Vocalist Ray Alder comments further, “I think it´s one of the best albums we ever put out and I´m happy that fans have the chance to take a second look at this important record. The lineup, the songs and the cover art all came together to make a great package when originally recorded and the bonus DVD really adds a fresh perspective to the album.”

23. Februar 2010Deutsch: Pretty Maids arbeiten intensiv an den abschliessenden Arbeiten zu den Studioaufnahmen des neuen Albums mit dem provisorischen Titel “Pandemonium”. Die Band wird hierzu einige Videoupdates aus dem Studio veröffentlichen – hier gibt’s den ersten Clip!

23. Februar 2010Deutsch: Treat gehören zu den legendärsten Bands der skandinavischen Melodic Rock Szene ! Im Jahr 1992 erschien mit dem selbsbetitelten Album “Treat” das bisher letzte Studioalbum der Band. Schlagzeuger Jamie Borger spielte dann bei Talisman und Hauptsongwriter und Gitarrist Anders Wickstrom etablierte sich als Songwriter u.a. für Bands wie Gotthard!
Im Jahr 2006 fand die Band wieder zusammen, veröffentlichte ein Best Of Album mit zwei neuen Songs und spielte diverse Festivals in Europa.
Das neue Album “Coup de Grace” beinhaltet unwiderstehliche Melodic Hard Rock Songs, voller Hooks, Granit-Riffs und unvergesslicher Melodien ! “Coup de Grace” erscheint am 19.03.2010!

English: Treat is one of the most legendary bands of the Scandinavian Melodic Rock scene. The self titled release “Treat” in 1992 was the band’s latest studio release to date. Drummer Jamie Borger went on to play with Talisman and main songwriter and guitarist Anders Wickstrom went on to become a world renowned Songwriter for Gotthard and many others. The band reunited in 2006 releasing a Best Of album with 2 new songs and played on several festivals all over Europe.
“Coup De Grace” is Treat’s proper album and offers a bunch of irresistible Melodic Hard Rock songs all armed with unbelievable hooks, granitic riffs and unforgettable melodies. “Coup De Grace” will be released on March 19, 2010.
