SOULFLY – veröffentlichen ihr siebtes Album “Omen” im April 2010 / to release their seventh album “Omen” in April 2010
Deutsch: New York, NY: Die langjährigen Roadrunner Records Künstler Soulfly um Metalgott und Bandleader Max Cavalera haben gerade die Aufnahmen zu ihrem siebten Studioalbum in den Edge of the Earth Studios in Los Angeles fertig gestellt. Roadrunner Records wird das Album mit dem Titel “Omen” am 30. April in Deutschland veröffentlichen.
“Omen” ist der Nachfolger des 2008er Albums “Conquer”, welches international großartige Kritiken erhalten hat.
In typischer Soulfly Manier und Tradition wird “Omen” einige namhafte Gastauftritte enthalten. Dillinger Escape Plan’s Greg Puciato und Prong’s Tommy Victor haben ihre Stimme einigen Songs geliehen. Zudem werden Max’s Söhne Zyon und Igor auf einer speziellen B-Seite zu hören sein, welche “Omen” zu einem wirklichen Familienalbum macht.
Tommy Victor von Prong erscheint auf einem Song mit dem Namen “Lethal Injection”. Greg Puciato von Dillinger Escape Plan ist auf “Rise Of The Fallen” zu hören. Igor Cavalera ist auf Exel’s “Your Life, My Life” zu hören und Zyon Cavalera auf einem Cover von Sepultura’s “Refuse/Resist”. Beide Söhne Cavaleras spielen Schlagzeug.

English: Roadrunner Records are happy to announce that Max Cavalera’s Soulfly have just completed their stint at Edge of the Earth Studios in Los Angeles, where they recorded their seventh album with Logan Mader as co-producer. The album, titled “Omen”, will be released in April 2010.
In the true Soulfly style and tradition, the album will some feature notable guest appearances- Dillinger Escape Plan’s Greg Puciato and Prong’s Tommy Victor will lend their voices to separate songs while Max’s sons, Zyon and Igor, will also appear on special B-sides, making “Omen” an album that is truly all in the family!
Of the collaborations, Cavalera said ‘The first one is a song with Tommy Victor from Prong sharing vocals on a song called ‘Lethal Injection’. The other is ‘Rise of The Fallen’, with shared vocals from Greg Puciato, Dillinger Escape Plan’s singer. I also recorded two B-sides with both of my sons playing drums. Igor Cavalera plays on Exel’s ‘Your Life, My Life,’ and Zyon Cavalera plays on Sepultura’s ‘Refuse/Resist’ cover.’
