DEUTSCH: Es war ein tolles Jahr für die Engländer von Malefice. Sie waren in Indien und haben vor Tausenden verrückter indischer Metalheads performt und den Trip hier und hier dokumentiert. Sie haben das Bloodstock Open Air gespielt, waren konstant in Europa unterwegs und haben ihr Metal Blade Debüt Dawn Of Reprisal veröffentlicht. Die Briten sind aber noch nicht fertig, denn sie haben nebenbei noch einen Videoclip zu einem der besten Albumsongs Architect Of Your Demise abgedreht.

Die Weltpremiere des Clips hat bei unseren Freunden von MetalInjection.net stattgefunden. Das Video wurde von Scott Fulton und Eyesmash Productions produzert.

Malefice waren darüber hinaus kurz im Studio um Panteras “I’m Broken” für einen besonderen Tribute zu Ehren Dimebag Darrells aufzunehmen. Der Song erscheint gratis auf der Compilation-CD, welche der 200. Ausgabe des britischen Metal Hammers beiliegen wird. Jene erscheint am 16. Dezember. Weitere Bands sind u.a.: Unearth, Machine Head, Chimaira, Zakk Wylde, 5 Finger Death Punch, Sylosis, Biohazard, Evile, Throwdown, This Is Hell, Kiuas u.v.m.!

Malefice werden im Januar mit Kittie und It Dies Today durch Europa touren!

ENGLISH: It’s been a huge year for England’s Malefice. They’ve been to India to perform for thousands of insane Indian metalheads and documented the trip here and here, played at Bloodstock ’09, toured Europe relentlessly and released their Metal Blade debut album, Dawn Of Reprisal. The Brits aren’t quite done yet as they have finished work on the video for one of the best tracks from the record called Architect Of Your Demise.

Our friends over at MetalInjection.net have been premiering this video exclusively. The video was directed by Scott Fulton and Eyesmash Productions.

Malefice have also been in the studio to record a cover of Pantera’s “I’m Broken” for a very special tribute to Dimebag CD which will come free with Metal Hammer UK’s upcoming 200th issue which is due to hit the racks on December 16, 2009. They join Unearth, Machine Head, Chimaira, Zakk Wylde, 5 Finger Death Punch, Sylosis, Biohazard, Evile, Throwdown, This Is Hell, Kiuas and more contributing tracks in honor of Dimebag Darrell Abbott who was tragically shot dead on stage in December 2004.
