DEUTSCH: Frontiers Records geben den Release von Brian Howes neuem Soloalbum „Circus Bar“ am 26.02.2010 bekannt. Brian Howe startete seine Karriere als Leadsänger von Ted Nugent mit dem Album „Penetrator“ und der darauffolgenden Welttournee und galt als die legendäre Stimme des Rock. Im Jahr 1984 folgte Brian Howe der Bitte von Schlagzeuger Simon Kirke und Gitarrist Mick Ralphs, als Ersatz für Paul Rodgers bei Bad Company einzusteigen.

13 Jahre nach dem Release seines ersten Soloalbums „Tangled In Blue“ (später hiess das Album in Europa „Touch“), ist Brian Howe nun zurück und veröffentlicht ein starkes neues Solowerk mit dem Titel „Circus Bar“. Die Arbeiten im Studio wurden von Wayne Nelson (Little River Band) unterstützt, der ein paar Tage mit Brian im Studio verbrachte und auch Pat Travers schaute rein um für den Track „My Town“ Gitarrenparts einzuspielen. Das Album beinhaltet zudem zwei beeindruckende und neu aufgenommene Remakes der Bad Company Klassiker „How `Bout That“ und „Holy Water“.

Produziert wurde „Circus Bar“ von Brooks Paschal, der Mix stammt von Rafe McKenna (Giant, Bad Company, Tesla, Ten). ENGLISH: Frontiers Records is delighted to announce the release of BRIAN HOWE’s forthcoming solo album entitled “Circus Bar” on February 26th 2010 in Europe and March 9th in the USA. Long regarded as one of rock’s legendary voices, Brian Howe started his career in 1983 as lead vocalist for Ted Nugent on the “Penetrator” album and fronting its band on the subsequent world tour. In 1984, drummer Simon Kirke and guitarist Mick Ralphs asked Brian to replace Paul Rodgers as the lead singer in Bad Company.

Thirteen years after the release of his debut solo album “Tangled in Blue” (later renamed “Touch” in Europe), Brian is back and ready to unleash his awesome new solo album entitled “Circus Bar”. Some friends helped Brian in shaping up “Circus Bar”, an album, which promises to be a career landmark for this amazing singer: Wayne Nelson of Little River Band dropped by the studio for a few days and also Pat Travers popped in and played guitar on “My Town”. The album includes also two stunning – newly recorded – remakes of the Bad Company hits “How ‘Bout That” and “Holy Water”.
